Mary Allen's Almanack Thanksgiving

I got this almanack from my dear friend, Mrs. Mary Allen way down south in Arkansas.

26. Yesterday. Increased rate of the arrival of weather systems toward the end of November ordinarily means more clouds and precipitation and also may mean animal activity.

27. Thanksgiving. Today. Today is also moon perigee when the Moon is closest to the Earth so except cold, storms in the North especially since tomorrow typically bring ones of the most dangerous weather systems of the month.

Note: We got 8 inches of snow that started yesterday and continued until noon time day.

28. The final high pressure system of November generally arrives around the 8th every year and is typically preceded by precip like rain or snow 3 years out of 4. Clouds dominate the sky and travel conditions are uncertain.
          - We had a bright sunny day.  Cold but sunny and warm where it shone.  Oh well.
